Rosie O’Regan will be Opening in Dancing at Lughnasa at the Everyman Theatre Cork on the 2nd August in the role of Rose.
Dancing at Lughnasa is a rich and deeply moving account of the lives of the five Mundy sisters and their ailing older brother. They are brought to life through the eyes of Michael, son of the youngest sister, Christina. Set in rural Ireland in 1936, the play takes an affectionate look at this family and the difficult circumstances in which the women, in particular, attempt to hold things together.
Following the success of Lovers (2015) and The Factory Girls (2016), The Everyman continues its tradition of producing top-quality drama with Friel’s masterpiece.
